At the Appalachian Climbing School, our time and the opportunities to attend our classes have enormous value. Therefore, our cancellation policies reflect that value.

• Your full payment is due at the time of reservation.

• If you discover that you cannot attend your reserved program outside 30 days of your course start, you may defer your enrollment to a later date without penalty.

• If you would like to receive a refund for a course outside of 30 days you can do so less 10% processing fee. 

• If you discover that you cannot attend your reserved program after our 30 day deadline, we will attempt to sell your seat on the program.  If we can sell your seat, we will allow you to defer your enrollment to another program at a later date.  If we cannot, your tuition will be forfeited.  

• Plea for exception: You may make a plea for exception to this cancellation policy at any time due to extreme and unforeseen circumstances like debilitating injury/illness, contagious illness, or a death in the family.  We reserve the right to grant exceptions to our cancellation policy at our discretion.
